When Complaints Turn to God
Reading: Numbers 21:4-9

The Israelites finally heeded Moses’ warning about their complaints not being against him, but against God.  Now they directed their complaints to God Himself, no longer hiding behind criticism of Moses. The end result is still the same.  When venomous snakes came as judgment, the people quickly acknowledge their sin and ask Moses to intercede for them. Don’t wait until there’s some negative consequence to acknowledge your sin. God honors our honesty, our repentance, and ultimately our trust. Bring your frustrations directly to Him—He can handle them, and He offers grace in return.
