When Our Plans Fail
Reading: Proverbs 3:5-7 -- a call to trust God completely rather than leaning on human understanding, acknowledging Him in all directions of life

The Israelites marched into battle assuming God's blessing without ever seeking His counsel. They duplicated a strategy that had once worked and expected the same result. But past success does not guarantee future favor. God is not a formula. When our carefully constructed plans collapse around us, the wreckage is often an invitation to stop, be still, and ask the question we skipped at the beginning: Lord, what do You want? Before you move today, ask first.

Practical Application: Before making one significant decision this week, pause and seek God's direction in prayer before proceeding.
